Joel Dreyfuss

Joel Dreyfuss is a prominent journalist, editor, and writer now based in Washington, D.C. Born in Haiti, Dreyfuss received a B.S in Sociology from City College of New York.

In 2009, Dreyfuss was named the Managing Editor of The Root.[1] A veteran journalist and editor, Dreyfuss is a founding member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Dreyfuss was previously the USA Today New York Bureau Chief and has worked for the Washington Post, AP, Red Herring,[2] Fortune Magazine,[3] Black Enterprise Magazine, The New York Post, and Bloomberg. Dreyfuss has also worked for KPIX and KQED. He has also published articles in The New York Times Magazine, the Book Review, and the Los Angeles Times. Dreyfuss also blogs about Haiti for the Huffington Post.[4]
